There used to be a time when finding a good replacement for butter was hard to do. These days, butter alternatives are plentiful which makes life a littler easier for vegans like us. We’re happy to say that struggling to find a good brand or make our own substitute for butter has became a thing of the past.
This is by far one of our favorite substitutes. We think it tastes a lot better than margarine and it’s actually a lot healthier too. We love spending time in the kitchen and we know how exciting it can be to make something with our own hands. We thought making our own buttery substitute would be complicated but that wasn’t the case at all. After some quick research on the internet, a handful of ingredients and a small amount of time, we were able to craft an alternative that would fool even the biggest dairy lovers.

How To Make Vegan Butter
Making your own vegan alternative is incredibly easy and it usually only takes about 5 minutes. We usually start by adding our oils to a blender. We let this sit for a moment while we stir vinegar into either almond milk or unsweetened soy. The important thing is to allow the mixture to begin to curdle before adding it to the other ingredients in the blender. Once it’s ready, blend together until smooth and creamy. Simply pour the mixture onto a dish, refrigerate for a few minutes, and then enjoy.
Butter Substitute For Cookies
Cookies have always been one of our favorite treats. Needless to say, we’ve spent a lot of time trying to find substitute ingredients that provide the same softness, gooeyness and flavor as dairy products without compromising our vegan lifestyle.
We think the best alternatives are oil and applesauce, depending on the type of cookie we’re craving. Oil provides a softer cookie while applesauce provides a denser, sweeter cookie.
